I love all of Merri’s work and this book was no exception! Haven came to Rimholt with her sisters the Failed Omega’s that were saved from Verdan. Haven is not your typical woman, she doesn’t want to be caged, she wants to teach for children who are less fortunate. Once an old brothel, the building she is staying in is becoming a schoolhouse, she also has Ratter and her crew as students who couldn’t be more excited. Niko, Graham, and Rand are helping Miss Haven around the schoolhouse to both get it ready and also help her with the children. The sexual tension in this book is absolutely insane, but it fits the story of these four so well! I loved how we learned more about their pasts and what they were looking for in the future. I can’t wait to read the next book!
