This book is the second in the Cursed Realm Series and it picks up where the cliffhanger left off. Cassandra was taken by the Collector and forced into a cell where she will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. While there Cassandra meets Tristan who comes with her when she escapes with a Fae prince, she also demands to get a dog that she names Oreo. While dodging the Collector after escaping her and Tristan are brought to try to open the barrier to the Twilight Realm but things take a turn and Apollo and Ren find her and help. Donatello was absent through all of this book after what happened in the first and I am interested to find out where he has been. There were some good sex scenes but not as many as the last book, this book focused more on getting away from the Collector. I am interested to see what happens in the next book.
