This book was different, I really struggled with the time hopping as well as the constant moving between characters in the same chapter instead of having designated ones. Lara lost the love of her life Ragnar after him rejecting her. His father never approved of her but she fought to earn her place as a warrior. Ragnar went down in battle while Lara rescued his father. Later she was named leader of the pack and had a harem of lovers but no one could compare to Ragnar. The spice was eh and there was a lot of backstory that I struggled through. I am unsure if I will be reading the second book. I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.
