Rain has had a lot of heartbreak in her life, between her mom, brother and Gram dying there was only Graham left to be there for her. But her life changes when Ezra a vampire comes in search of Gram and finds Rain and hires her for a cleansing of a house of spirits. The Woman in Black has been visiting her but hopefully she will be able to guide Rain to where she needs to be. The characters interactions were pleasant and I really enjoyed Warren’s pastry euphemisms! I am excited to read the next book to find out more about this great world and the quest they are on!
