This books picks up where the first left off with an epic cliffhanger. Cordy and her men travel north to the portal to make it to the human realm to get the next stone. She meets good Allie’s along the way. There was a lot of spice in this book with group scenes and individual scenes which was nice. I liked seeing the development of characters and their bonds grow stronger. The cliffhanger in this one is awful and now I’m patiently waiting for the next one to find out what happens next!
