Guiseppina (Pina) has been sheltered all her life by her family and is expected to be married off to build the perfect alliance to benefit the family. The night her father tells her she is to be married to Lucien Rossi the man who killed her best friend she escapes and harms herself but is rescued by someone she doesn’t expect. Darragh’s one job was to take her out and instead he rescued her. Pina is finally making an alliance she needs to and can take out the man who she hates most, Darragh trains her to be what she is now. It was spicy when it needed to be, but I loved how sassy Pina was to Darragh. This book ended on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book!
