Carter is in charge of the ship while Asher and Nova are on their honeymoon. She doesn’t expect her stint as temporary captain to go quite like it is. She is being followed by a Draconian named Wyett who is looking to procure the egg she has been tasked with getting. Their species have been at war for years and it seems nothing will stop it except for possibly this egg. I really enjoyed this book and I loved seeing Carter grow. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
