Poppy has run away from her step mother after her dad passed away and she is seeking out his friend Steagor. She is on the road and pawns off her mothers necklace to get coin but finds out her step mother put a bounty on her head, running into the forest she comes across orcs. Her father failed to mention that his friend was an orc, bringing Poppy back to the Hill to get better after she fell ill. I really enjoyed the spiciness and seeing Steagor get his happy ending. I can’t wait to read Vark’s story next!
