I loved this post apocalyptic world that the author created. Tori is living with her family and ex boyfriend and ex best friend who are now together…. Yeahh… You read that right, bask in that awkwardness….. They are living off grid three years after everything that went down and it seems there is a horde coming right for them when two strangers stop and let them know to gather items and outrun it. Nathan and Micah offer refuge to Tori and her companions in their treehouses they live in. There is much that happens in this book and we also meet Calix who is a germaphobe. It is steamy, action packed and the characters are feisty and bad@$$. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author!
