Holy smokes was this dark and gritty, but I loved every second of it! Aran is pulled from the beast realm to an academy where a sacred tree chooses her to train to be an assassin. She is put through the ringer by the three fae kings Orion, Scorpios, and Corvus. It remined me of a supernatural special forces training. The tension was off the charts in this book, the bombs dropped at the end were *wow* and the cliffhanger was insane. I can’t wait to read the next book!
