As always this was such a good book from Salem! Warren is a captain of the guard in her city but also happens to be a descendent of War, one of the original horseman. The Four Horsemen are currently missing along with Lucifer and they are holding Apocalypse Trials to help find the strongest of all of the four bloodlines. She must team up and work together with the sons of Famine, Death, and Pestilence to become the leaders. Things are more than they seem and much is being hidden. This is spicy, zesty ($tabby) and perfect for the start of this new series! I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
